Cardiogenetics

Cardiogenetics

Determines predispositions to heart and vascular diseases.

Heart attack, stroke, thrombosis, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, chronic venous insufficiency, arrhythmia.

Cardiogenetics evaluates inherited predispositions to heart and vascular diseases, which are the leading causes of mortality in our population. The risk factors for these diseases primarily include high cholesterol, high blood pressure, increased blood clotting, chronic inflammation in the vascular wall, and inadequate antioxidant protection of the body. We test genes that contribute to the development of these risk factors.

The analysis specifically examines the following areas:

- Heart attack and stroke
- Thrombosis
- Hypertension, including salt sensitivity
- Familial hypercholesterolemia
- Beta-thalassemia
- Arrhythmias
- Chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins
- HDL-cholesterol
- LDL-cholesterol
- Homocysteine
- Inflammatory response
- Antioxidant capacity
- Effects of stress
